林奈大學坐落于瑞典著名科學家卡爾· 林奈（Carl Linnaeus）（1707-1778）的出生地—— 瑞典南部的斯莫蘭(Sm?land)省，是一所現(xiàn)代化的大學。大學約有40多個英語授課專業(yè)和500多門英語授課課程。大學以科學家卡爾· 林奈命名，并延續(xù)了卡爾· 林奈 無畏、強烈的求知欲與創(chuàng)新的精神。
林奈大學是一所擁有31,000 名學生的現(xiàn)代化大學。每年，超過1,600名來自世界各地的國際學生來到林奈大學學習。林奈大學的國際學生可以就讀本科學位與研究生學位。
