美零留學(xué)網(wǎng)發(fā)布新加坡華僑中學(xué)宗旨

　　據(jù)美零留學(xué)網(wǎng)介紹，新加坡華僑中學(xué)(Hwa Chong Institution) 原名為新加坡南洋華僑中學(xué)(The Chinese High School)，是已故華僑領(lǐng)袖陳嘉庚先生發(fā)起，于1919年3月21日在新加坡創(chuàng)辦的以中文為教學(xué)媒介的學(xué)校。今天華僑中學(xué)已經(jīng)是新加坡最頂尖的中學(xué)之一，雖然主教語已更改為英語，但依然保持了比較濃厚的中文背景和傳統(tǒng)文化。
