中國學生選擇北德克薩斯州大學的七個原因：

1. 北德克薩斯州大學在US News公布的工程學排名中列位第78。

2. 北德克薩斯州大學的音樂系、視覺藝術系、表演藝術系等是美國最大的，最受重視的專業(yè)。包括諾拉瓊斯在內的格萊美獎獲得者都曾在北德克薩斯州大學就讀。

Many UNT alumni are found in top positions in the region and all across the country. Alumni include self-help guru Dr. Phil McGraw; Larry McMurtry, Oscar winning co-author of the screen adaptation for Brokeback Mountain and author of many novels including The Last Picture Show and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Lonesome Dove; six journalism alumni with eight Pulitzers among them; recording artists Pat Boone, Don Henley, Roy Orbison, Sara Hickman, Lyle Mays, “Blue” Lou Marini and multiple Grammy winner Norah Jones; former Miss America and entrepreneur Phyllis George; and Horatio Alger Award winner Ronald Waranch.

Alumna Corinna Bejarano Wright, a senior designer at Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing, spent many years designing the unique styles of Big Tex, the State Fair of Texas’ official greeter. The 52-foot cowboy has a 120-inch neck and 186-inch sleeve length.
